As per section 4 of Indian Partnership Act, 1932:
Partnership
Is the
relation between persons who have agreed to share the profits of a business
carried on by all or any of them acting for all.
Partners
Are the individual
persons who have entered into partnership with one other.
Firm
Is the persons
collectively who have entered into partnership.
Firm name
Is the name under which the
partner’s business is carried on. Business includes every trade, occupation and
profession as per section 2 of Indian Partnership Act, 1932.
