On Bottomry Bond i.e. to say, any
instrument whereby the master of a seagoing ship borrows money on the security
of the ship to enable him to preserve the ship or prosecute her voyage.
(i) Where the amount or value
secured does not exceed Rs. 1,000/-
Three rupees for every one
hundred rupees or part thereof
(ii) When it exceeds Rs. 1,000/-,
for every Rs. 500/- or part thereof in excess of Rs. 1,000 /-
Fifteen Rupees
