Following
Pupil –Teacher Ratio to be maintained in each school as per schedule of Right of Children to Free and
Compulsory Education Act, 2009
For the
purpose of maintaining the Pupil-Teacher Ratio no teacher posted in a school to
be made to serve in any other school or office or deployed for any
non-educational purpose, other than those specified in section 27.

At least one teacher per class so that there shall be at least one teacher

(ii)
Social Studies;

(iii)
Languages.
|

(2)
At least one teacher for every thirty-five children.
|
|||
(3)
Where admission of children is above one hundred—
|
|||
(i)
a full time head – teachers;

(ii)
part time instructors for—

(A)
Art Education;

(B)
Health and Physical Education;

Work Education.
