On Power of Attorney as defined
by section 2 (21) not being a proxy
(i) When executed for the sole
purpose of procuring the registration of one or more documents in relation to a
single transaction or for admitting execution of one or more such documents:
Twenty rupees
(ii) When authorising one person or more to
act in a single transaction other than the case mentioned in sr. no. (i) above:
Twenty rupees
(iii) When authorising not more than
five persons to jointly or severally in more than one transaction generally
Fifty rupees
(iv) When authorising more than
five but not more than ten persons to act jointly or severally in more than one
transaction or generally
Seventy five rupees
(v) When given for consideration
and authorising the attorney to sell any immovable property
The same duty as a conveyance for
a consideration or market value equal to the amount of consideration
(vi) In any other case
Twenty five rupees for each
person authorised
(vii) When given for construction
on, development of, or sale or transfer (in any manner whatsoever) of, any
immovable property
Five rupees for every one hundred
rupees or part thereof on the market value of the property
