Remarriage of divorced persons under Foreign Marriage Act, 1969


 

The divorced person may remarry when:

 

(i) There is no right of appeal against the divorce decree, or

 

(ii) If there is right to appeal, however time of appealing has expired without an appeal being presented, or

 

(iii) an appeal has been presented but has been dismissed.
