Registration of Partnership firm under Indian Partnership Act, 1932



 
Documents required:

(i) One set of attested copy of partnership deed.


(ii) Statement in prescribed form (Form No 1) as to:

(a) The Firm’s name

(b) The place or principle place of business of the Firm

(c) The names of any other places where the firm carries on business,

(d) the date when each partner jointed the firm,

(e) the names in full and permanent addresses of the partners, and

(f)the duration of the firm.

(iii) Ownership prove of principle place of business

(iv) No objection from the owner of the place in case of rented accommodation in form of an affidavit


Note: The registration of a firm may be effected at any time by sending by post or delivering to the Registrar of the area in which any place of business of the firm is situated or proposed to be situated,


Prescribed fee: three rupees (Rs. 3/-)


Recording of changes /Amendment in the Registered Partnership Firm


The following forms as prescribed under I.P. Act. 1932 accepted for various amendments in original Form-A and Form-C.

Recording of alteration of in firm’s name and principle place of business:Form No. II

For change of the other then principle place of business: Form No. III :-

For change of name of the partners & permanent address of the partners. Form No. IV

For change of constitution of forms & addition or retirement of partner: Form No. V

For dissolution of the firm Form No.VI

For minor partner attains the age of majority: Form No. VII
